Belladonna has a marked action on the circulatory system and blood vessels.

Belladonna is from the plant, Deadly Nightshade. Belladonna is an example, of how Homeopathy does use poisonous materials for some remedies, but after dilution and succussion the remedy is totally without poisonous elements.

Belladonna can be used by infants and elderly with complete trust that the remedy is safe without any side effects. This constrasts with conventional medications that are never without some side effects. Belladonna action on the circulatory system and blood vessels shows how this remedy can be useful for fevers, High Blood Pressure.
Complaints are associated with hot, red skin, flushed congested face. Cold hands and feet may be involved though because of faulty circulation. Throbbing headaches, hard pounding pulse. Tendency to swollen glands. Lightheadedness with falling to left or backwards. Sleepy, but cannot sleep.
